Vintage Staffordshire Porcelain Hen On Nest Covered Dish

This vintage covered dish features a charming hen on a nest design, made of porcelain, top hen part is shinny glazed & bottom nest part is more of flat glaze.   Couldn’t find one exactly like it on-line but similar hens show Crafted in Staffordshire England.  This piece is perfect for collectors who are fond of decorating with farm-inspired themes. The dish is ideal for display and would bring a great English/French country cottage feel to your kitchen or dining room. It’s a nice-sized piece that would have good impact arranged in a china cabinet or on shelves.
Measures approximately 6.5” wide, 6.5 tall, 5” wide.  There are a couple of chips on base & one chip at bottom left side of hen near base (see pictures).    Hen is sitting on 5 yellow eggs (some of yellow has faded).
